WE enjoy reading all genres of fiction and nonfiction. We do not, however, read poetry or really sick stuff.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS
MANUSCRIPTS up to 10,000 words may be pasted within the body of an email or sent as an attachment in the form of PDF or Microsoft Word.doc. LARGER submissions may be submitted as a Word attachment or a text file. We do not accept any other formats.

All book Proofreads (except those from the Wednesday Flyer) are subject to approval. Please submit the first chapter for a free evaluation. Why?

SURFACE MAIL SUBMISSIONS 
OUR Opinions and Proofreads are performed electronically. But if you prefer to work with paper, we will happily accommodate you. Paper submissions, including SASE, will be shipped by you directly to the reserved ReadingWriters. For example, if you reserve five ReadingWriters, you will send out five manuscript copies along with five SASEs. After we confirm your reservations, we will send you the mailing addresses. 

AT the top of your submission, provide:
   ~ your name
   ~ mailing address
   ~ email address
   ~ genre 
   ~ word count  

FOR clarity, please indicate your payment method: 
Online - I have paid through PayPal. 
Offline - I am sending check or money order. 

CAPITALIZE title. All submissions must have a title.

FONT should be black 12-pt. Arial, Courier or Times Roman, double-spaced. Indent every paragraph. Separate scenes with five or six centered pound signs: ######. 

EZINES ONLY:  Maintain your original format.

CONFIRM we've received your entire submission by including the words:
The End.

INSERT the proper Project and Service in your subject box: Short Story Proofread or Novel Opinion or Proofread Evaluation, First Chapter Opinion and Proof, etc. This is to ensure your manuscript goes where you want it to go.

    "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Let me go." Ice Noodle fell to the ground, fighting for air. He stretched out on his back and stared up at the clouds until his breathing calmed. "Daryl thinks Reva's in love with his brother. And it's killing him."

   "Hark!" Mush Pump raised a hand to his brow. "We've made contact!" 

   "Fine. I can do that." Ice Noodle sat up. "Daryl goes down to his studio and bangs out a tune on the piano. He's a musician. Logical reaction."

   Mush Pump glared down, folding his arms.

   Ice Noodle tried again. "Okay, he bangs out a sad tune."
